Metal-Work & Artisanal Panels
Custom steel, cut and finished as the feature of the space.
◇ Overview
Metal-Work & Artisanal Panels in Dallas–Fort Worth.
Steel does things stone and timber cannot. It spans further, holds a crisp line, and can be cut into pattern — which makes it the right material for a privacy screen that still moves air, a planter with a knife edge, or a panel that turns a blank fence into the focal point of the garden.
Pieces are designed for your space rather than ordered from a catalogue: the pattern, the proportions and the finish are drawn to suit the architecture they sit against, then fabricated to fit the opening they were measured for.
Our approach
Everything is measured on site and fabricated to those measurements, not trimmed to fit on the day. Finish is chosen for how you want the piece to age — powder coat holds a colour, while weathering steel is meant to develop its rust patina, and we detail the base so that patina doesn't stain the paving underneath it.
Materials & finishes
- Weathering (Corten) steel
- Powder-coated mild steel
- Aluminium for lightweight spans
- Laser-cut bespoke patterns
◇ Good to Know
Common questions.
Will weathering steel stain my patio?
It can, if it's detailed badly — the runoff carries rust. We set panels and planters with a gap and a drainage detail at the base so the patina develops on the steel and not on your paving.
Can you match a pattern I've seen?
Usually. Panels are laser-cut from a drawing, so a pattern can be adapted to your dimensions, or we can draw something original for the space.
